OLED screens are coming!

Finally OLED screens seem to come to our lives! So, what all the fuss is about? Let me tell you a bit more about OLED screens:

OLED screens are energetically more efficient than today’s LCD screens, that’s the first thing. That is due to the fact that they do not need additional backlights to provide a bright picture and some other causes. The contrast on LCD screens is incredible, let me put that in numbers:
OLED 1′000′000 : 1, Plasma TV 10′000 :  1,  LCD  2′000 :  1.  Amazing, huh?

The width of OLED screens is kinda redicolous – Sony announced two models, one is 9 mm wide and the other one only 3 mm wide. For a better impression, check out this picture:

I’ve found this website, similar to the famous hotornot.com. The main idea is pretty much the same – you can post your picture and rate other people. The good thing is that you can rate celebrities as well and this is something I haven’t seen yet on similar pages!
